2024 People and Culture year in review

Take a look back on 2024 at AssuranceLab from our People & Culture Manager Bradley Steinbach

 

It's hard to believe we are quickly staring down the end of 2024 to welcome a New Year. It has been a whirlwind of excitement this year at AssuranceLab, from increasing our business headcount by 38% (wow!) to creating new and exciting business models to better serve our clients and iterating, learning, reiterating, and doing it all again!

AssuranceLab now has representation in seven countries worldwide to better serve our growing client base. Of course, adding new "ALabbers" globally has posed some interesting challenges and hurdles to overcome this year. We have had the opportunity to explore EORs, global payroll systems and global growth strategies, but now feel we have the foundation to flourish into 2025 (more on this in a blog in the New Year!).

 

AssuranceLab's People Wins | By the numbers:

  • Grew our headcount from 31 to 50 (with 16 hires in April/May alone!)
  • Yearly offsite held in May with global representation in Sydney, AU
  • Our "average applicants per advertised role" grew from ~170 to almost 400!
  • Stood up an entirely new function within the team, Starter Audits, growing from 0 to 15 in only a few months

To cap off the year that was, celebrate the huge team wins across the company and get excited for 2025, our teams are celebrating with "Holiday break-ups" across the country. We are thrilled to see what unfolds with AssuranceLab in 2025 and beyond.
