Meet Ross, our VP of Sales, NAMER at AssuranceLab. With an extensive career in sales and partnerships, Ross is ready to take our North American growth to the next level! We sat down with Ross to get to know him a bit better, check out his responses below!
So tell us a bit about yourself, Ross!
I’m Ross Dolbec and I’m all about connecting people, building strong partnerships, and driving growth. With a decade of experience in sales and partnerships, especially in tech and compliance, I’ve learned that success comes from relationships built on trust and collaboration. I’m based in Boise Idaho United States, where I’m never too far from a good mountain trail, lake or sports (I'm a coach in my spare time!). I’m thrilled to bring my experience to AssuranceLab and help lead the charge in transforming the audit and compliance landscape.
What is it that you love about working in the sales and partnerships space?
Sales and partnerships are all about solving problems creatively and connecting with people in a meaningful way to drive great outcomes. What gets me excited is the challenge of understanding what clients really need and crafting solutions that not only meet their goals but help them exceed them. It’s a constantly evolving space where you need to be agile, and I love being in the driver's seat of that kind of dynamic growth. Plus, there’s nothing better than seeing a partnership turn into real value for everyone involved.
What attracted you to the AssuranceLab team?
AssuranceLab had me hooked from the start with its clear vision and commitment to building trust through innovative audit solutions. The idea of transforming something as complex as auditing into a more transparent, accessible, and value-driven process really resonated with me. But beyond that, I was drawn to the culture. AssuranceLab isn’t just about hitting numbers, it's about building a team that’s passionate about making a difference, I’m lucky to be along for the ride.
How have the first few months of the role been?
The first few months have been a whirlwind in the best way possible! I’ve had the privilege of working with an incredibly talented, driven team that’s ready to push boundaries and redefine what’s possible in the audit space. I’ve spent a lot of time getting to know the ins and outs of the company, and it’s been energizing to see how much potential there is and to work with such a great team. We’ve already started to build some exciting new partnerships, and I can’t wait to see where we go from here.
What are you most looking forward to in this role?
The North American market is primed for growth, and I’m excited to help lead that charge. I’m especially looking forward to building deeper relationships with clients and partners and shaping strategies that will set us apart as leaders in the space.
What are your goals for the future, both professionally and personally?
Professionally, I’m focused on positioning AssuranceLab as the go-to name in the North American compliance market, driving both revenue and meaningful partnerships. I also want to continue growing as a leader, mentoring the next generation of sales professionals, and challenging myself to think even bigger.
On a personal level, I’m all about balance. Spending quality time with my family, staying active (whether it’s hiking or coaching kids in sports), and shooting 85 on the golf course - might have to wait a while for that one ;)
